Periam and James Thompson's account books, 1834-1873.

These two volumes are the account books of Periam and James Thompson, of Griswold Mills, town of Fort Ann, New York. The account books cover the time period from 1834 to 1873. They concern personal finances, mainly related to farming, household expenses, and other business dealings. Volume 1 covers the dates 1834-1838; volume 2, 1839-1873. Volume 1 also includes a section of accounts from an unspecified later time period, which were kept by an unidentified person. At the front of both volumes is stamped the name, John G. Haviland.
